I don't want to sound pretentious in either direction.
But in other portfolios I often see phrases like "painting a picture", "capturing memories" or "telling a story" that are too exaggerated for me. Alternatively, I do see a sort of inflation where the potential of a single image is lost with more and more casual online content.
I try to keep it simple, capturing beauty or form wherever I might see it. Some pictures are better than others. And I'm tring to figure out why too.
